Who we are:
Paranormal Exploration And Research League is a non-profit group of people who research paranormal activities in the following States: Ohio, Southern-Michigan, Western-Pennsylvania, Northern-Kentucky, Eastern-Indiana, and Northern-West Virginia. We are only able to travel within 4 hours of Columbus, OH at this time. P.E.A.R.L. conducts investigations in a professional manner using scientific equipment operated by dedicated and experienced people and we are here to help you.
What separates P.E.A.R.L. apart from other groups:
All members of P.E.A.R.L. work and live in the Ohio area. We use only scientific equipment and methods. We may scrutinize the evidence, but we want to be sure that it is concrete before saying it is "paranormal". If you are seeking help with a possible paranormal issue, we urge you to research the team you are considering. Take a close look at their websites. Some groups in the area are good and a few more that are up and coming. These are all things to consider when searching for a group to help you.
Your privacy:
Your neighbors will not likely even know we were there. We present ourselves discretely and professionally. There will NEVER be photos of the exterior of your property that would allow someone to identify you on our website. Any evidence we post on our website will be by property owner/manager written permission only. We pride ourselves on our professionalism and respect your right to privacy.
How we conduct the investigation:
Once P.E.A.R.L. is contacted, we interview the property owner/manager. Once both parties agree an investigation is needed, P.E.A.R.L. will arrive on the scheduled date and time. We will conduct an onsite tour of the property with the owner/manager to determine possible areas of interest. The actual investigation itself will normally take place on the weekend and usually at night. We normally start around 9 pm and end no later than 6 am. Each investigation is different so the length of the investigation will vary. Once the investigation ends, the P.E.A.R.L. team will usually take about a week for a residencial case, and up to two weeks on a commercial case to evaluate the evidence that was collected. At which point, a P.E.A.R.L. member will contact the property owner/manager to schedule a meeting to share the results of the investigation.
Investigation expectations:
You can expect P.E.A.R.L. to be timely, professional and thorough, and we will utilize scientific equipment and methods to present you with the truth. You should not expect to find your home or business to be haunted.
Publication of our findings:
Evidence will NEVER be posted by any media outlet including on our website without the written permission of the property owner/manager.
Paranormal removal:
P.E.A.R.L. specializes in detection of paranormal activity. We cannot remove what may "haunt" your house, but we can arrange to contact someone who specializes in removal if you so desire.
Donations:
Since we are a non-profit organization we will never charge anyone for our services. We do accept donations to help continue our services and to purchase equipment to better serve our clients.
