The following procedures are just an indication of how we operate.

10. If you sneeze, move something, etc., it needs to be noted because it most likely has been captured on another
piece of equipment as well.
11. Do not reveal any possible evidence to anyone besides other team members while investigating.
12. Most of the time we will divide up into two or three person teams to cover more area.
13. Never whisper. Talk regularly so it is not confused for EVP's during the review.
14. Avoid wearing strong perfume or cologne.
15. Use the interview form when interviewing eyewitnesses.
16. Safety first - note any hazards before you turn the lights out and make sure all members know about it.
17. Watch each other. Use the buddy system. No one EVER goes alone. This is for safety and gives credibility to
your experiences.
18. Make sure all equipment is working properly and have extra batteries, tapes, clean lenses, etc.
19. Start investigating when instructed by lead investigator.
20. Entities usually need the premises to settle before becoming active. So remaining in an area for a while may be
warranted. Avoid loud talking or excessive laughter.
21. Keep an open mind. However, be skeptical and try to find a logical explanation before jumping to conclusions.
Over 80% of claimed activity can be explained.
22. Be respectful of the location, property, people, and possible entities.
23. Oh - and enjoy the experience! That is one reason why we do this!
Safety Procedures
1. No one EVER goes alone. This is for safety and gives credibility to your experiences if someone else witnesses
the same thing. Your partner can keep you calm if you become too scared or anxious.
2. Make sure someone at home knows where you are and how to reach you in case of an emergency.
3. It is recommended that at least one team member is CPR certified.
4. Look for possible hazards during the daylight so you are aware of them when you cannot see them later.
5. No alcohol or illegal drug use prior to or during the investigation. This will keep everyone safe.
6. Each team will have a walkie-talkie for communication.
7. Carry a flashlight, self-explanatory.
8. If desired, carry a cell phone in case of emergency, but leave it on vibrate or silence and only use it during
scheduled breaks.
9. Stay alert and pay attention to your surroundings. Once the lights go out, your perception may be off until your
eyes adjust to the darkness.
10. Wear appropriate clothing for weather conditions and sturdy footwear.
11. If, during the investigation, a team member finds illegal substances or weapons, let the lead investigator know
immediately and calmly and quietly leave the premises.
Evidence Procedures
1. All members will review all the evidence whether or not they were able to participate in the investigation. It is a
team effort from beginning to end.
2. Look for the logical explanation first before considering the evidence as paranormal.
3. Evidence reviewing for residential cases needs to be finished within 7 days of the investigation. The sooner, the
better. Our clients don't want to wait around and wonder if we caught anything.
4. Evidence reviewing for commercial cases need to be finished within 14 days of the investigation.
5. Founders have the final say as to if a piece of evidence is warranted as "paranormal".
6. The contact person for the investigation request will schedule the reveal with the owner/manager.
7. A founder and the contact person shall be present at all reveals. Two people must always be present.
8. Reveals will be held at the site of the investigation unless there is nothing to report. However, a phone call still
requires the presence of the contact person and a founder.
